ABOUT STUDIO ZEN
Studio Zen is a creative space and recording studio located an hour north of Central Auckland. Based in Mahurangi, Aotearoa.
Owned and operated by a family of passionate music lovers who have a wide range of complementary skills and experience in the music industry. Including music creation, audio & video recording and production, distribution, marketing, graphic design and general music industry advice.
Our studio space has 2 rooms, a large room, perfect for full band sessions or writing workshops, and a booth that is perfect for vocals but large enough for drums or podcasting.

SERVICES
Mix
Mixing of in-house recording or add some polish to a track you have recorded elsewhere.
Record
Treated room, perfect for vocals and large enough to record drums. Separate live room for full band recording.
A small collection of essential instruments and amps is available for use.
Producer and session musicans available on request.
Podcast
Flexible facilities to accommodate various set-up preferences and number of guests.

Set price for mix of supplied stems to your specifications.
$90/song (+GST)
Studio
An hourly rate works well for casual bookings, however we prefer to work with you to set goals that suit your budget and remove clock-watching anxiety.
$45/hr (+GST)
Podcast
Come for an hour or a day, plenty of space and parking for you and your guests.
$45/hr (+GST)
Our passion is to help local musicians make awesome sounding recordings and share them with the world.
All rates include an engineer and access to a range of amps and instruments.
